Auye Bible (NT) (AUUWBT)

Overview

The Auye Bible NT (2020), vernacular title "Ogatamee Me Etokaa Gipii See Menaa," is a New Testament translation into Auye, a Papuan language of the Trans-New Guinea family spoken by approximately 350–600 people in the Paniai (Wissel Lakes) region of Papua Province, Indonesia, specifically in the Napan subdistrict along the Siriwo River. [1] Earlier scripture portions in Auye were produced prior to the completion of the New Testament in 2020. [2] The translation was produced by Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. [3]
