Overview

The Hadrami Arabic Translation (2010) is a Scripture portion translation into Hadrami Arabic (ISO 639-3: ayh), a spoken Arabic variety of the Hadhramaut region in southeastern Yemen. [1] An estimated 4.9–6 million people speak Hadrami Arabic, primarily in the Hadhramaut and adjacent governorates of Yemen, with diaspora communities across the Horn of Africa, East Africa, and Southeast Asia. [2] The translation was produced by Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. (copyright 1999–2016) and comprises a limited selection of biblical texts at 52 printed pages. [3]
