Mai Brat New Testament (AYZMBT)

Overview

The Mai Brat New Testament was published in 2005 by Yayasan Sumber Sejahtera (Bible League Indonesia) and represents the first Scripture in the Mai Brat language. Mai Brat (also spelled Maybrat) is a Papuan language spoken by approximately 20,000 people in the central part of the Bird's Head Peninsula in the Indonesian province of Southwest Papua. A comprehensive grammar of the language was published by Philomena Dol through the Australian National University in 2007. [1]
