Azerbaijani Bible (AZBEMV)

Overview

The Azerbaijani Bible was published in 2008, copyrighted by the Bible Society of Azerbaijan and the Institute for Bible Translation (IBT, Stockholm). [1] The modern Azerbaijani Bible translation was the work of Mirza Khazar (1947-2020), an Azerbaijani author and political analyst who began translating the entire Bible in 1975 and completed it in 1984. [2] IBT released his New Testament in 1982, which was reprinted five times. [2] This edition is distributed by Elam Ministries.
