The Biali Book of Genesis (BEHWBT)

Overview

The Biali Book of Genesis (A dah beh-eu sah bo) is a translation of the book of Genesis into the Biali language, published in 2018 by Wycliffe Bible Translators. [1] Biali is spoken in the far northeast of Togo and northwest of Benin, in the Tanguieta region. [1] The Genesis translation was produced as part of a broader Biali Bible translation project carried out by SIL Togo-Benin in partnership with Wycliffe, which also resulted in a complete New Testament translation. [1][2] The project used Paratext software for consultant checking of the translated books. [1]
