Bum 2014 Edition (BMVCAB)

Overview

The Bum New Testament was completed in 2014 and dedicated on April 25, 2015, in a major celebration in Cameroon's Northwest Province. [1] The translation was carried out by the Cameroon Association for Bible Translation and Literacy (CABTAL) in cooperation with Wycliffe Bible Translators, with work beginning in 2007. [1] The Bum people live in the mountains of Cameroon's Northwest Province and trace their origins to the Tikar people. At the dedication ceremony, two chiefs who had come to faith publicly called on other chiefs to follow Christ. [1]
