Anjam New Testament 2014 (BOJWBT)

Overview

The New Testament in the Anjam language of Papua New Guinea, 2014 revision. Anjam (also called Bom or Bogadjim) is a Madang language spoken on the Rai Coast of Madang Province, PNG, with approximately 2,020 speakers living in a cluster of coastal and inland villages. [1] The New Testament was translated by Robert and Diane Rucker, working with SIL International and Wycliffe Bible Translators. [5] An earlier New Testament edition was produced in 2000 in collaboration with The Bible Society of Papua New Guinea; the 2014 revision reflects updated translation work and is titled "Yesus Aqa Anjam Bole." [2] [3] Work on a Psalms translation in Anjam was subsequently undertaken. [4] The text is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivatives 4.0 license. [2]
