Anjam New Testament 2000 (BOJYAA)

Overview

The New Testament in the Anjam language of Papua New Guinea, published in 2000 under the title Yesus Aqa Anjam Bole. This was the first Scripture translation into Anjam, produced by Wycliffe Bible Translators in cooperation with the Bible Society of Papua New Guinea. [1] The Anjam people, also known as Bom or Bogadjim, live along the Rai Coast in Madang Province and take great pride in their language, which is considered the most prestigious in the area. Language and People

Anjam (ISO 639-3: boj), also known as Bom, Bogadjim, or Lalok, is a Rai Coast language spoken by approximately 2,020 people in Madang Province, Papua New Guinea.
