Overview
This is a Scripture translation in the Baiso language (also called Bayso), an endangered East Cushitic language spoken by approximately 3,500-5,000 people around Lake Abaya, Ethiopia. About 95% of Baiso speakers are multilingual in at least four languages, primarily Amharic. [1] This edition uses Ethiopic (Ge'ez) script. A Latin-script edition is also available (BSWL). The translation was published in 2025 by The Word for the World International.
