Basa-Gurmana (BUJEBL)

Overview

This is a Scripture translation in the Basa-Gurmana language, an endangered language spoken by the Koromba people in Niger State, Nigeria, in the Chanchaga and Rafi border areas of Kafin Gurmana LGA. The language is used as a first language by a decreasing number of young people and is not taught in schools. [1] This 2025 edition from The Word for the World International and The Word for the World Nigeria appears to be the first Bible translation in Basa-Gurmana.
