Czech KMS New Testament (CESKMS)

Overview

The Czech KMS New Testament (Český studijní překlad, Czech Study Translation) was first published in 1994 by Křesťanská misijní společnost (Christian Missionary Society). [1] The New Testament was translated by Antonín Zelina and Pavel Jartym. [1] It is a formal equivalence (study) translation emphasizing concordance and fidelity to the source text, with extensive philological footnotes. [1] The New Testament was revised in 2000 and again in 2007. [1] Old Testament translation was carried out by Michal Krchnák, Karel Dřízal, Jiří Hedánek, and Dan Drápal, with the complete Bible published in 2009. [1]
