Chuave New Testament (CJVTBL)

Overview

The Chuave New Testament (Yai Guman Gunom Kam) was published in 1992 by Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. and The Bible League. [1] Chuave is a Papuan language of the Trans-New Guinea phylum spoken in Chuave District, Simbu Province (formerly Chimbu Province), in the central Highlands of Papua New Guinea. [2] The language is spoken in the districts of Elimbari, Chuave, Siane-Komunku, and Lambau, and the Chuave-speaking community numbers approximately 25,980 people. [2]
