Dingi (also known as Dungi, Dungu, Dunjawa, or Dwingi, ISO 639-3: dbv) is a language spoken by approximately 2,200 people in Nigeria. The Dingi community is one of Nigeria's many small language groups that remain minimally reached by evangelical Christianity, with few resources available in the mother tongue. The Divinity Global Gospel Initiative produced the audio recording of the Gospel of Luke in Dingi, which is. The Global Recordings Network also maintains audio evangelism and Bible teaching materials in the Dingi language. This Gospel of Luke recording represents the primary Scripture resource currently available for Dingi speakers, providing oral access to the life and teaching of Jesus for a community where oral communication is central to culture and daily life. Further translation work is needed to give the Dingi community access to the wider New Testament.
