Overview

This is a New Testament translation in the Danu language, closely related to Burmese, spoken by approximately 116,000 people in southern Shan State, Myanmar, primarily in Pindaya and Ywangan townships in the Danu Self-Administered Zone and Taunggyi District. [1] The Danu are a government-recognized ethnic group in Myanmar. The translation was published in 2025 by The Word for the World International.
