ANTBA Version (DOSATA)
Overview
The ANTBA Version is a New Testament translation in Dogose, produced by the Association Nationale pour la Traduction de la Bible et l'Alphabetisation (ANTBA), the national Bible translation and literacy organization of Burkina Faso. [1] ANTBA was officially recognized by the Burkinabe government in 1992 and became an affiliated member of Wycliffe International in May 1996. [1] The organization describes its mission as being "the Church's arm in the ministry of making the Word of God available to all the peoples of Burkina Faso in their mother tongue." [2] ANTBA is involved in translation work across approximately 18 languages in Burkina Faso. [1]
