The New Testament in Ogea (ERIWBT)

Overview

The New Testament in Ogea, titled Itou Nomo Hilou Beele, is a translation of the New Testament into the Ogea language (also known as Erima or Nuru), a Papuan language spoken by approximately 2,210 people living near Madang in Madang Province, Papua New Guinea [1][2]. The translation was completed by Wycliffe Bible Translators and copyrighted in 2013 [3]. Ogea belongs to the Madang language family, a group of more than 80 languages spoken in the region [1]. The translation is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivatives 4.0 license and was last updated in December 2016 [3].
