Overview
This is a scripture portion in the Guduf-Gava language containing the Gospel of Matthew. Guduf-Gava (also known as Guduf, Gudupe, Gava, or Afkabiye) is a Chadic language of the Afro-Asiatic family spoken in Borno State, northeastern Nigeria. [1] The translation appears to be associated with the Luke Initiative for Scripture Translation (LIST) Nigeria, a non-denominational Bible translation organization working on scripture portions for minority languages in Nigeria. [2] The text identifies itself as "Gava" in the USFM header. As of recent assessments, no complete Bible translation exists in Guduf-Gava; only scripture portions and audio recordings are available.
