Aka (Hrusso) Bible (HRUEBL)

Overview

The Aka (Hrusso) Bible is a Scripture translation in the Hruso language (also called Aka), an endangered, unclassified Sino-Tibetan language spoken by approximately 3,000 people in 21 villages in Thrizino Circle, West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh, India. [1] The language is undergoing shift to Hindi in some communities, and churches in the area currently conduct services in Hindi, making a mother-tongue Bible significant. The translation was published in 2025 by Bridge Connectivity Solutions Pvt. Ltd. [2]
