Tuwali Ifugao 2004 Edition (IFKWBT)

Overview

The complete Bible in Tuwali Ifugao (Nan Kalin Apu Dios) was published in 2004. The translation was carried out by SIL missionaries Richard M. Hohulin and E. Lou Hohulin, who began linguistic and translation work among the Tuwali Ifugao in 1981 and resided in Kiangan, Ifugao Province from 1981 to 1991. [1] SIL colleague Marlin Leaders also contributed to the project over several years. [1] The New Testament had been completed in 1991, with Bible portions available from as early as 1915. [2] The Hohulins' vocabulary notes from the translation formed the basis for the Tuwali Ifugao Dictionary and Grammar Sketch, published by the Linguistic Society of the Philippines in 2014. [1]
