Tuma-Irumu Bible (IOUTBL)

Overview

The Tuma-Irumu Bible contains the New Testament and portions of the Old Testament in the Tuma-Irumu language of Papua New Guinea, first published in 1997 with a revised edition in 2011 [1]. Tuma-Irumu (also known as Tuma, Irumu, or Upper Irumu) is a Finisterre language spoken in Morobe Province by approximately 1,000 to 1,500 people [2][3]. The translation was produced by Wycliffe Bible Translators and is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivatives 4.0 license [1]. The vernacular title of the translation is "Anutu Tango Man," and it is available in print, digital, and audio formats through platforms including YouVersion, Faith Comes By Hearing, and eBible.org [4][1].
