The Konongo Scripture resource provides Bible content in the Konongo language of central Tanzania, produced by Wycliffe Bible Translators and distributed. Konongo (ISO 639-3: kcz), also known as Kikonongo, is a Bantu language of central Tanzania closely related to Nyamwezi. It forms part of the Konongo–Ruwila language grouping. Though used as a first language by all adults in the ethnic community, the language is considered endangered as younger generations show declining rates of transmission. The Konongo Scripture resource includes both read-and-listen text and the JESUS Film in multiple segments, providing the community with both visual and audio access to the Gospel narrative.
