Kera 2004 Edition (KERABT)

Overview

The Kera 2004 Edition is a New Testament translation in the Kera language, published by the Bible Society of Chad. The Kera New Testament translation was completed in June 2002 with the assistance of a Wycliffe Bible Translators exegete who also helped develop the Kera orthography and establish a literacy program. [1] The translation has been widely used and is reported to have contributed to the growth of the Kera church community. [1] Literacy work and Old Testament translation have continued under the leadership of the Kera people themselves, coordinated through the Chad branch of SIL International. [1][2]
