Koya New Testament (KFFWFW)

Overview

The Koya New Testament was published in 2020 by The Word for the World International and the Koya Translation Samithi, Malkangiri, Odisha. Koya is a South-Central Dravidian language of the Gondi-Kui subgroup, spoken by approximately 407,000 people (2011 census) across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. [1] Though sometimes described as a dialect of Gondi, Koya is mutually unintelligible with Gondi dialects. [1] This translation specifically serves Malkangiri Koya speakers and uses the Odia script.
