Kurumba Kannada New Testament — New Life Computer Institute (KFINLC)

Overview

The 2018 Kurumba Kannada New Testament was published by New Life Literature and produced in cooperation with New Life Computer Institute (NLCI) and World Cassette Outreach India. This edition provided both print and audio access to the New Testament for the Kurumba tribal community of southern India. The audio recordings were produced by NLCI, with video Gospel portions supplied through the LUMO Project films. This is the primary widely distributed edition of the Kurumba Kannada New Testament, distinct from the earlier 2017 NLCI audio-only edition (KFIKVV). The translation reached the Kurumba community, a traditionally forest-dwelling tribal people in the Nilgiris region, with Scripture in their distinct Kannada dialect. The resource is available digitally through YouVersion and as a standalone Android Bible application.
