The Open Bilsapuri Bible (KFSOBB)
Overview
The Open Bilaspuri Bible is a New Testament translation in the Bilaspuri language (also known as Kahluri), published in 2017 by Bridge Connectivity Solutions as part of their initiative to produce openly licensed Scripture in Indian languages. [1] Bilaspuri is a Western Pahari language spoken by approximately 296,000 people in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh and parts of the Rupnagar district of Punjab in northern India. [2] The translation is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license, allowing free redistribution and adaptation. [3] The text is available digitally through the Free Bibles India platform and as a mobile app.
