GURRE KAMILAROI (KLDEBL)

Overview

"Gurre Kamilaroi" is a digitization of historic Biblical instruction material in the Gamilaraay (Kamilaroi) language, a Wiradhuric Pama-Nyungan language of New South Wales, Australia, with approximately 35 speakers remaining as of 2006. [1] The original material was produced by William Ridley, a Presbyterian missionary who published vocabulary and Bible story translations in Gamilaraay between 1852-1856, making this one of the oldest Aboriginal-language Biblical texts in existence. [1] The text is in the public domain.
