Auhelawa New Testament (KUDPNG)

Overview

The New Testament in 'Auhelawa was published in 2008 by the PNG Bible Translation Association. Bible portions had been translated between 1986 and 1993 before the New Testament's completion. [1] The 'Auhelawa people (also known as Kurada) live on Nuakata Island and the southeastern end of Normanby Island in Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea. [1][2] Approximately 85% of 'Auhelawa speakers are literate in their language. [2]
