Boazi Kuni New Testament (KVGWBT)

Overview

This translation contains Ruth, Jonah, and the New Testament in the Kuni dialect of the Kuni-Boazi language of Papua New Guinea [1]. Kuni-Boazi is a Trans-New Guinea language spoken in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea in the vicinity of Lake Murray [2][3]. The language is a stable indigenous language used as a first language by all members of the ethnic community [3]. Kuni is a tonal language with complex pitch inflections that change word meaning, and its writing system uses the Latin script with special characters including ae for /e/ and o-slash for certain vowels [2][3].
