The Kaan audio scripture resource produced by the Nigeria Bible Translation Trust (NBTT) brings the Word of God to speakers of Kaan, a language of Nigeria also known as Kan, Libbo, or Libo. NBTT is the principal body responsible for Bible translation among minority language groups in Nigeria, having assumed this responsibility in 1976 and currently running over 107 translation projects across the country. [1] The production and distribution of audio scripture represents an important step for a community where oral communication often precedes written literacy, allowing church communities and individual believers to hear God's Word in their mother tongue.
