Marathi Bible (MARERV)
Overview
The Marathi Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) is a complete Bible translation in Marathi (Devanagari script), part of the ERV family produced by the World Bible Translation Center (WBTC), now a subsidiary of Bible League International. [1] The ERV was originally developed as the English Version for the Deaf in 1978 and expanded into numerous languages. The Marathi edition uses simpler vocabulary and shorter sentences designed for accessibility, expressing the full meaning of the original text in clear, easy-to-understand style. [1]
