Ma'di 1977 Edition (MHIBSU)

Overview

The New Testament in the Ma'di language, published in 1977 by the Bible Society of Uganda. Ma'di is a Central Sudanic language of the Moru-Madi subgroup, spoken by approximately 390,000 people in the Adjumani and Moyo districts of northwestern Uganda and in Magwi County of South Sudan. [1] The translation was produced as part of the Bible Society of Uganda's program to provide Scripture in Uganda's many languages. [2] The Ma'di New Testament was published under the title "Ofu U'di Rii Aii Longo Ole Ri Tro" and remains available through the Bible Society of Uganda. [3]
