The Ocotepec Mixtec New Testament 1977 Edition (Nuevo Testamento en mixteco de Ocotepec) is a translation of the New Testament into the Ocotepec variety of Mixtec, published in 1977 by La Liga Biblica, A.C. with copyright held by Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. [1] Ocotepec Mixtec (also known as Mixteco de Santo Tomas Ocotepec or Mixteco de Sierra Sur Noroeste) is spoken in the municipality of Santo Tomas Ocotepec in the state of Oaxaca, southern Mexico. [2] The language belongs to the Mixtec branch of the Oto-Manguean language family. Audio recordings of this translation were produced in 2008 and are available through Faith Comes By Hearing. [2]
