Ontenu (ISO 639-3: ont), also known as Ontena, is a Papuan language of the Kainantu subgroup spoken in Kainantu District, Eastern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea. Approximately 7,700 speakers; many community members are shifting to Tok Pisin.
