The Ekpe Audio Bible is a Scripture resource produced by the Linguistics and Bible Translation Impact Initiative (BTI) for the Okpamheri-speaking community of Edo State, Nigeria. The name Ekpe is used by this organization to describe this variety of Okpamheri (ISO 639-3: opa), a language spoken by approximately 119,000 people across communities including Ibilo and surroundings in the Etsako West and Owan areas of Edo State. Okpamheri belongs to the Edoid language branch and has several alternate names including Emhalhe and Western Okpamheri. This resource shares the ISO code with the NBTT Okpamheri Audio Bible (OPANBT), as two distinct organizations have recorded Scripture for communities within the opa language space. The audio delivery of this resource provides Scripture access through listening regardless of literacy level.
