The Oring Audio Bible is a Scripture resource produced by the Nigeria Bible Translation Trust (NBTT) for the Oring-speaking community of southeastern Nigeria. Oring (ISO 639-3: org), also known by alternate names including Kufia, Ufia, Effium, Okpoto, and Koring, is spoken by approximately 166,000 people in communities straddling Benue and Cross River states. The language is part of a larger cluster of related languages in the region. NBTT, which has overseen Bible translation for Nigeria's minority language groups since the 1970s, distributes this audio resource, ensuring that Oring speakers — many of whom may have limited access to printed Scripture — can engage with the Bible in their mother tongue through listening.
