Overview
This is a 2025 translation of the Gospel of Luke into Padoe, an Austronesian language spoken in Sulawesi, Indonesia. It was published by Yayasan Kartidaya Sahabat Indonesia in collaboration with The Seed Company. [1] Padoe is spoken by an estimated 5,000 people in the inland areas between Lake Matano and the north Bone Bay in South Sulawesi Province. [2] Kartidaya is an Indonesian non-profit organization focused on supporting Bible translation throughout Indonesia, affiliated with Wycliffe Global Alliance.
