सत मारग पर चलन वारो किताब (PWREBL)

Overview

This is a New Testament portions translation in Powari, an Indo-Aryan language spoken in the far south of Madhya Pradesh, India. [1] The translation was produced by The Word for the World International, with a copyright date of 2023, and contains seven books from Matthew through 1 Corinthians. Powari is the language of the Kshatriya Powar (Panwar) ethnic group, who are historically Pramar Rajputs of Malwa. [1] While the ethnic Powar population numbers approximately one million, only about 30% are estimated to be native speakers of the Powari language. [1] The language is considered endangered, as it is thought to be used as a first language by a decreasing number of young people. [2]
