ⴰⴷⵍⵉⵙ ⵉⵇⴻⴷⴷⵙⴻⵏ (RIFT)
Overview
This is the full Bible in Tarifit (Rif Berber), rendered in the Tifinagh script. Tarifit is a Berber language spoken by approximately six million people in northern Morocco and parts of Algeria [1]. The New Testament was first published in 2009 in Tifinagh, Latin, and Arabic scripts by DHIMH Multimedia [2]. A complete Bible including both Old and New Testaments was subsequently published, with the 2020 edition produced by Awal n Arebbi [3]. This Tifinagh-script edition (RIFT) is one of three companion editions of the same Tarifit translation, alongside RIFA (Arabic script) and RIFL (Latin script). The Tifinagh script used follows the version employed in Moroccan schools with minor modifications and adheres to Unicode standards [4]. Digital editions are distributed through tarifit.info and are available as apps, PDFs, and EPUB files [5].
