Waima New Testament (RROPNG)

Overview

The New Testament in the Waima language of Papua New Guinea, published in 2002 by the Bible Society of Papua New Guinea in collaboration with Wycliffe Bible Translators. [1] Waima, also known as Roro, is an Austronesian language spoken in the coastal area of Central Province. The translation makes the New Testament accessible to the Waima-speaking community, which has historically relied on Tok Pisin or English for Scripture. [2]
