Russian Sign Language Bible Portions (RSLSLS)

Overview

This translation provides multiple Bible portions in Russian Sign Language (Русский жестовый язык), produced in video format for the Russian deaf community. Three separate releases are available through Deaf Bible Society covering different Scripture portions.

Language and People

Russian Sign Language (ISO 639-3: rsl) is the primary sign language used by the deaf community in Russia. It has approximately 120,000 native signers and is also used in other former Soviet republics alongside their own national sign languages.
