Gungu 2017 Edition (RUBWBT)

Overview

The Gungu 2017 Edition (vernacular title: Lugungu Bible) is a Wycliffe Bible Translators publication for the Gungu (Lugungu/Rugungu) language, spoken by approximately 127,000 people in western Uganda near Lake Albert. [1][2] The translation includes the complete New Testament along with six Old Testament books: Genesis, Ruth, Esther, Psalms, Proverbs, and Jonah. [1] Bible portions in Gungu were first published in 1998–2009, with the New Testament completed in 2017. [2]
