Russian Bible (RUSERV)

Overview

This is the Russian Easy-to-Read Version (ERV), a full Bible published by Bible League International (formerly the World Bible Translation Center) [1]. The Russian ERV is known in Russian as "Библия: Современный перевод" (Bible: Contemporary Translation) [2]. The Easy-to-Read Version translation program produces accessible Bible translations in simplified language, designed for seekers and new believers as well as those using a language as a second language [1]. The Russian ERV has been published in multiple editions, with versions appearing in 1993, 1997, 2002, and a 2014 updated edition [3].
