Sissala 1999 Edition (SLDTBL)
Overview
The Sissala 1999 Edition is the New Testament in the Sissala language of Burkina Faso, published in 1999 by Bible League International. The translation work was largely carried out by two Sissala pastors. [1] The New Testament was completed and celebrated in December 1999. [1] Bible portions had been available since 1995, and a revised edition was issued in 2006. [1] This was the first Scripture publication in the Sissala language.
