Biblica® Nádej pre každého, verejne dostupné (SLKEBL)
Overview
This is the Slovak New Testament titled "Nádej pre každého" (Hope for Everyone), originally published in 1993 by Creativpress and copyrighted by Biblica, Inc. [1][2]. The translation follows the "Living Bible" paraphrase tradition inspired by Kenneth N. Taylor's model, but it is notably not a direct translation of the English Living Bible; rather, it is the result of creative work by a Slovak translation collective [2]. The translation targets initial Bible engagement and casual reading, using contemporary Slovak language to make Scripture accessible, while maintaining what has been described as high literary and theological value [2]. It has been updated through 2023, and the current edition is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License as "Biblica® Nádej pre každého, verejne dostupné" (publicly available) [1].
