Spanish Free Bible Version (SPAVBL)

Overview

The Spanish Free Bible Version (Versión Biblia Libre) is a complete Bible published in 2018 by Free Bible Ministry, Inc. [1] The translation was done by Dr. Jonathan Gallagher and Shelly Barrios de Ávila, with contributions from Gustavo Sanabria and Rebekah Poldaas. [1] Gallagher, who holds a Ph.D. in Divinity from the University of St Andrews, spent approximately 15 years on the Free Bible Version project, translating directly from Hebrew and Greek. [1] The FBV aims to avoid theological bias and is released under a Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike 4.0 license. [1]
