Suba New Testament (SXBWBT)

Overview

The Suba New Testament is the first Scripture published in the Suba language, spoken by the Suba people on the islands and shores of Lake Victoria in Homa Bay County, Kenya, particularly on Mfangano Island. Bible translation work in Suba commenced in 1992, and the New Testament was dedicated on 15 April 2011. [1] The translation was produced by Wycliffe Bible Translators in partnership with Bible Translation and Literacy East Africa (BTL). [2]
