Samachique Tarahumara New Testament (TARWBT)

Overview

The Samachique Tarahumara New Testament is a 2011 translation in the Central Tarahumara language, spoken by approximately 29,700 people in the Copper Canyon region of northern Mexico. The translation was published by Wycliffe Bible Translators and is titled "Riosi Raꞌíchara" in the vernacular. Central Tarahumara is a threatened Uto-Aztecan language, and this New Testament serves the communities around the Samachique area of Chihuahua state. [1]
