North Tairora Arau Bible (TBGNOR)

Overview

The North Tairora Arau Bible contains Genesis and the Gospels in the Arau dialect of the North Tairora language, published in 1986 by Wycliffe Bible Translators. The translation was carried out by Alex and Lois Vincent, who worked with SIL in the Aiyura Valley region of the Eastern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea. Lois Vincent documented the translation project in a 121-page book, "The Written Word Comes To The Tairora People: The Tairora Bible Translation Story." [1] [2]
