Telugu Easy to Read Version (TELERV)

Overview

The Telugu Easy to Read Version (ERV), titled "Chaduvu Sulabham Bible" in Telugu, is a complete Bible translation in the Telugu language of India. [1] It is part of the global Easy-to-Read Version series produced by the World Bible Translation Center (WBTC), which was founded in 1973 in Arlington, Texas, to create accessible Scripture translations in major world languages. [2] The WBTC later merged with Bible League International, which now holds the copyright and continues distribution. [2] WBTC India maintains operations for Telugu and other Indian-language Easy-to-Read translations. [3] The print edition includes features such as subheadings, parallel references in the Gospels, footnotes, word lists, maps, and ribbon markers. [3] A 2006 edition is preserved in the Internet Archive. [4]
