Tagalog Bible (Door 43 Version) (TGLULB)

Overview

The Tagalog Unlocked Literal Bible (ULB) is an open-licensed translation produced by the Door43 World Missions Community as part of the unfoldingWord project. The ULB is a form-centric rendering designed to mirror the lexical and grammatical structure of the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts as closely as possible while remaining comprehensible in the target language [1]. It is intended as a companion to the Unlocked Dynamic Bible (UDB), which prioritizes meaning over form, so that together the two resources give translators a more complete picture of both the structure and the sense of the source texts [2]. The Tagalog ULB was produced by volunteers in the Door43 World Missions Community and is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, allowing free redistribution and adaptation without licensing fees [1][2].
